Jonathan Ive,
Apple's design chief, who has long created a wide range of products has now
been awarded a high that is knighted in the New Year Honors list.
Mr. Ive, who can now call in Sir Jonathan, has made a Knight Commander of the British Empire (KBE).
He grew up in Chingford, Mr. Ive has started working for Apple in 1992 and ever since then he has become the brains behind many Apple products.

He looks very excited and said "absolutely thrilling" and he also said that he was "flattered and sincerely thank both".
Mr. Ive added: "I am very aware that I was born of a beautiful tradition in the UK to design and make.
"I found it at an early age I've ever wanted to do was design."
The working team praised Mr. Ive been in to the manufacturer's form and function seen in gadgets such as Apple's iPod and iPhone.
He was born in February 1967, Mr. Ive inherited a work of love to make something of his father, a maker of silver, and in the know spend most of his youth to make something unusual in his work.
From the age of 14, he once said, he was very interested in drawing and making "stuff" and this is something that has been assembling his desire that originated from Northumbria Polytechnic - now Northumbria University - where he studied industrial design.
After graduation he began working as a commercial designer and later, along with three colleagues, founded a design firm called Tangerine.
And he was one of the clients at the agency at the time Apple was impressed with his work in the manufacturing of a prototype notebook and began at that time he worked fulltime in the manufacture of such products.
Mr. Ive been frustrated for years - years in the company Apple because of reduction in his company. Starting at the time that all changed, in 1995 one of his colleague Steve Jobs returned to the company for help.
"What makes it so extraordinary success is its relationship with Steve Jobs and Apple," said Deyan Sudjic, director of the Design Museum.
"He's been working there for 19 years and have built the type of relationship is extraordinary."
Mr. Ive's eyes began to open wide when thinking to integrate more effectively with the legendary Mr. Jobs, who has been creating high value products from their company, and since late 1990 have transformed Apple into the company's largest and most influential technologies that exist on this planet.

Mr. Sudjic said: "He has a very decisive for reaching the right thing."
Knights title the second time that Mr. Ive, including those most at acknowledges in technology. And in 2005 he was made a Commander of the British Empire (CBE).
